    Kristian Kirpal takes over the management of the company

    Since 2013, KET has been solely managed by Kristian Kirpal. Under his leadership, the company has consistently driven its growth and continued to develop its expertise and capabilities.

    Construction of the second production hall

    In 2009, a second production hall was built at KET's site in Wermsdorf. This expansion increased production capacity and created the foundation for the company's continued growth.

  • 2007

    Kristian Kirpal joins the management team

    Since 2007, Kristian Kirpal, Dipl.-Ing. (FH), has been responsible for KET's day-to-day operations as Managing Director. Under his leadership, KET has established itself as a reliable and innovative system partner for companies such as BMW, Porsche, Deutsche Bahn, and the Helmholtz Centre.

    Innovation Award and New Production Facility

    In 2003, KET built its own production facility equipped with state-of-the-art robotic welding technology. This pioneering investment was recognized with the Innovation Award in 2004. The company has continued to expand ever since and now operates approximately 2,000 m² of modern production space in Wermsdorf, Saxony.

  • 1998

    Kristian Kirpal joins the family business

    From 1998 onwards, the collaboration between Kurt Kirpal and his son, Kristian Kirpal, shaped the company's innovative direction. Together, they developed Saxony's first natural gas-powered fuel cell in cooperation with TU Bergakademie Freiberg. Although it never entered series production, the project became the driving force behind a development that continues to define KET today: the 3D CAD/CAM-based manufacturing of complex energy and utility systems.

    Foundation of KET Kirpal Energietechnik

    KET Kirpal Energietechnik GmbH was founded in 1991 by Kurt Kirpal with technical expertise, entrepreneurial vision, and a clear mission: to deliver efficient energy solutions for industry, public-sector clients, and specialized projects. What began in his own home quickly evolved into a trusted partner for demanding projects, including work for Deutsche Telekom, Leipzig Zoo, and the historic Höfgen Forge, whose restoration was honored with the German Heritage Conservation Award.
